Data Deletion Instructions

This page explains how to ask The Top Board to delete personal data we hold about you, and what we may need to keep where the law requires it. It supplements our Privacy Policy, which describes what we collect and how long we keep it. The Top Board is operated by ZINI advertising, which is the controller of that data.

How to Request Deletion

Email privacy@thetopboard.com with the subject line "Data deletion request" and tell us what you would like deleted. No account or login is required to make a request.

Information We Need to Identify Your Request

So we can locate your data and confirm the request relates to your own data, please include:

• the email address you used at checkout or to receive listing updates;
• if the request relates to a paid listing, the listing URL(s) or a payment/transaction reference;
• a brief description of what you want deleted.

We may ask you to verify your identity before we act, so that we do not delete or disclose data on someone else's behalf without authority.

What We Delete

Once your request is verified, we delete the personal data we hold about you that we are not required to keep, and where applicable we instruct our service providers to do the same.

What We May Need to Keep

Some records may be retained where retention is legally required or permitted, including completed-transaction and accounting or tax records (such as invoices and receipts), and records needed for fraud prevention, security, or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. These are kept only for as long as necessary for those purposes, in line with the retention summary in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell personal information.

Public Listings

A paid listing is public by design. Deleting your personal data is separate from removing a listing from the board. To ask us to remove or hide a listing, use the Report a listing page or contact us; the Terms of Service and Refund Policy continue to apply to completed placements.

Our Response

We aim to acknowledge and act on valid requests within a reasonable time and in accordance with applicable law. If we cannot fully delete certain data for the reasons above, we will explain what was retained and why.
