Acceptable Use Policy

Version 1.0 · Effective 2026-08-22 · Last updated 2026-08-22

This policy lists what may not be listed or promoted on The Top Board. It is part of the Terms of Service. We may reject or remove any listing that violates it, and payment does not exempt a listing from it.

Prohibited Listings and Destinations

A listing may not promote, link to, or consist of:

  • illegal goods or services;
  • phishing or other attempts to steal credentials or personal data;
  • malware, spyware, or software designed to harm devices or users;
  • scams, fraud, or deceptive commercial practices;
  • impersonation of a person, business, or organization;
  • content that infringes copyright, trademarks, or other intellectual property;
  • violations of privacy or publicity rights;
  • adult sexual content;
  • child sexual abuse material — zero tolerance; such material is reported to the relevant authorities;
  • human trafficking or exploitation;
  • illegal or restricted weapons;
  • illicit drugs;
  • hate, extremist, or terrorist content;
  • doxxing or publishing private personal information;
  • destinations that exist only to serve spam;
  • chat-invite spam (links whose purpose is mass-inviting users to chat groups);
  • misleading redirects or cloaking (showing us a different site than users see);
  • domains created to manipulate this platform or its rankings;
  • content that violates the payment provider's rules;
  • transactions involving sanctioned parties or otherwise prohibited transactions.

Moderation

We moderate with a combination of automated checks and human review. Moderation is best-effort: we do not and cannot guarantee that every listed third-party site is legal or safe, and a listing's presence is not an endorsement. The administrator has final moderation authority, subject to applicable law.

Reporting

To report a listing that appears to violate this policy, use the report page. Copyright and trademark complaints have a dedicated channel.
